Switching the appliance on and off
By touching the sensors for setting the
temperature you can now choose
between ; 0 and ; 1:
0: Safety lock is deactivated,
1: Safety lock is activated.
^ To save the setting, touch the
DynamicCooling function On/Off
sensor.
When the safety lock is activated, the
safety lock indicator light X will light
up.
^ To exit settings mode, touch the
On/Off sensor for the whole
appliance, or wait for
approx. 2 minutes and the
electronics will automatically revert to
normal operation.

Switching off for longer
periods of time
If the appliance is not going to be used
for a longer period of time, e.g. whilst
on holiday:
^ switch the appliance off,
^ disconnect the appliance from the
mains. Switch off at the wall and
withdraw the plug from the socket, or
switch off at the mains circuit
breaker,
^ clean the appliance, and
^ leave the door ajar to air the
appliance.
If, during a long absence, the
appliance is switched off but not
cleaned out and the door is left shut,
there is a danger of mould and
odours building up inside the
appliance.
