Switching on and off
Operating the appliance
A light touch of the finger on the
sensors is all that is required to operate
this appliance.
A tone will sound each time a sensor is
touched. You can deactivate this, if you
wish (see "Selecting further settings -
Acoustic signals").
Switching on
When the appliance is connected to the
electrical supply, the mains connection
symbol t appears in the display.
^ Touch the On/Off sensor.
The mains connection symbol t goes
out and the appliance begins to cool
down.
The sensors for the refrigerator and
freezer sections will appear in the
control panel:
Refrigerator
section
The refrigerator section sensor is
highlighted in yellow and the current
temperature in the refrigerator appears
in the display.

Freezer section
When the refrigerator door is opened,
the interior lighting will come on and the
adjustable shelf LED lighting will
become brighter until it has reached its
maximum brightness.
When the appliance is switched on for
the first time, the sensors for the
refrigerator and freezer sections and
the alarm symbol ; will flash until the
set temperature is reached.
When the set temperature is reached,
the sensors for the refrigerator and
freezer sections light up constantly and
the alarm symbol ; goes out.
To enable the temperature to get
sufficiently cold inside the appliance,
allow the appliance to run for a few
hours before placing food in it.
Do not place food in the freezer
section until the temperature is at
least -18 °C.
