Display assembly This section describes removing the display assembly and disassembling display subcomponents. You must remove the display from the computer to disassemble display subcomponents. Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps: Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. - Page 78 Separate the display from the computer (6). If it is necessary to replace any of the display assembly subcomponents: To remove the display bezel: Flex the inside of the top edge (1), the left and right edges (2), and the bottom edge (3) of the display bezel until the bezel disengages from the display enclosure.

To remove the camera/microphone module: Position the display assembly with the top edge toward you. Pry up to disengage the camera/microphone module from the adhesive that secures it to the display (1).
