Message
lights up red in the
display and an alarm
also sounds.
Cause and remedy
The temperature alarm has been activated (see
"Temperature and door alarm"). The temperature in
the refrigeration appliance has risen higher or fallen
lower than the temperature set.
Possible reasons for this include:
– The appliance door has been opened too fre-
quently.
– A large quantity of fresh food has been placed in
the freezer without switching on the SuperFreeze
function.
– A prolonged power cut (mains outage) has oc-
curred.
– The refrigeration appliance has a fault.
Touch
in the display.
The alarm message is confirmed:
the alarm stops.
The status display appears: the warmest temperature
recorded in the freezer will flash for about 1 minute in
the display. Then the temperature display will change
to the current temperature in the freezer.
You can exit from the flashing temperature display
early:
Touch the temperature display.
The warmest temperature displayed will disappear.
The display will then revert to showing the current
temperature in the freezer.
Rectify the cause of the alarm.
Depending on the temperature displayed, you
should check whether food in the freezer has star-
ted to thaw or has defrosted. If it has, it should be
used as soon as possible. Defrosted food may
only be re-frozen after it has been cooked.
