Quick Start Guide for heat pump tumble dryer T 8947 WP These short instructions are not a substitute en - AU, NZ for the Operating instructions supplied with the appliance. Please read the Operating instructions supplied with your tumble dryer before using it for the first time and take note of the Warning and Safety instructions as well as the full descriptions on how to use your machine.
Brief instructions A Prepare the laundry D Turn the programme selector Make sure that objects e.g. detergent dispensing balls have been removed from the laundry. ^ Sort the laundry (e.g. according to the drying level required, the type of fibre or weave). Pay attention to the manufacturers' information on the care labels: Do not tumble dry.
Timed drying programmes Cool air: 20 min. - 1 h Warm air: 20 min. - 2 h Basket programme: 40 min. - 2:30 h Warm air 0:20 h:min (0:20 - 2:00 h) ^ Extend / Reduce the time by pressing ^ Extra options can be selected by the X or Y button.

Programme chart Cottons Max. load 7 kg* Extra dry, Normal+, Normal Fabric type Single and multi-layered cotton fabrics such as towelling, T-shirts, underwear, flannelette bed linen. Notes – Select Extra dry for multi-layered and very thick fabrics. – Do not use Extra dry for loopknit (e.g. T-shirts, underwear, baby clothes), as they have a tendency to shrink.

Woollens Max. load 2 kg* Fabric type Woollen fabrics. Fabrics containing wool blends. Notes – This programme only fluffs up woollen garments. They are not dried completely. – Remove garments as soon as the programme has finished and leave to finish drying at room temperature. Silks Max.
