CHECK SOFTWARE VERSION ..................5 1. UPGRADE DESCRIPTION This document is the user guide outlining the upgrade procedure for the Huawei R205 (Pocket Wi-Fi Pro). This document is strictly to be used only as a guide to upgrade the R205 to v8.0. - Page 3 R205 v8.0 Upgrade Guide Step 3: Run the downloaded file – ‘R205 PocketWiFi Firmware v8.0.exe’. A flash updater window would pop up (Image below) – click Next. Step 4: Click ‘Start’ to proceed with the update.

R205 v8.0 Upgrade Guide 4. RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS There are two ways to do this: Open WebUI and login. Mobile Broadband Device Controls Restore Default Settings Press “Confirm” to restore. Press and hold the “Reset” key (near SIM card slot) for 5 seconds on your device - it will restore the device. -
