Figure 5-25: Foot-Operated Power Selector, S 4xx
Note:
Before re-installing, ensure that the flattened shaft side of the cog drive
(Figure 5-25, Item 3) is vertical and at the front, and that the indicator
cylinder shows the lowest setting.
5.10
Electronic (S 4xx Only)
1. Remove the foot switch assembly (Section 5.8).
2. Unscrew the group plug (Figure 5-26, Item 2) from the underside. Take
care to note its positioning.
3. Release the retaining clips at the rear (Figure 5-26, Item 1) and front
(Figure 5-26, Item 2) of the power selector switch (Figure 5-26, Item 3) and
remove the selector switch.
4. Slide out the fascia piece (Figure 5-26, Item 4).
5. Unclip the electronic's retainers (Figure 5-26, Item 5) and lift out the
electronic.
6. Re-install by following these instructions in reverse order.
