Rinsing the ice cube maker
The ice cube maker and water sup‐
ply pipework must be rinsed:
– before using for the first time,
– if the ice cube maker has not been
used for a long time,
– regularly when in continuous use
(at least once a month), to remove
ice residues from the system (to
avoid a blockage of the water sup‐
ply) and
– before switching the ice cube mak‐
er off for a long time.
After selecting the "Rinse the ice cube
maker" setting the ice cube maker
and the water supply pipework will be
rinsed automatically.
The ice cube tray then rotates into the
cleaning position to allow you to dry it
by hand.
Water is collected in the ice cube draw‐
er .
Cleaning and care
Fill the water container with hand-hot
drinking water only. Do not use hot
or boiling water.
Do not add any detergents such as
washing-up liquid.
Pull the water container forwards to
remove it.
Clean it thoroughly with water to re‐
move any dust etc.
Fill the container up to the marker
with fresh, cold drinking water, or
drinking water which is at the most
hand-hot.
Insert the filled container into the
holder and push it all the way to the
back.
Make sure that the water container
clicks into position and that it is sit‐
ting correctly in its holder.
Make sure the ice cube drawer is
empty before selecting the "Rinse the
ice cube maker" setting. Otherwise
the water will empty onto the contents
of the drawer.
