The interior lighting is not working.

Problem

The LED lighting on the

shelves is not working.

The LED lighting on one

of the shelves is not

working.

Cause and remedy

Liquid has been spilt onto the LED lighting on one of

the shelves or the metal discs (contacts) in the left-

hand shelf supports.

The safety switch off mechanism has switched off the

interior lighting.

 Wipe the stainless steel trim with LED lighting with

a damp cloth and dry it or leave it outside the ap‐

pliance to dry. Clean the metal discs (contacts) in

the shelf supports by wiping and drying them.

 Make sure that the contacts are clean and dry be‐

fore inserting the shelves with lighting in the appli‐

ance.

 Push the shelf in until it clicks into position.

 Close the appliance door.

When the door is opened again, the interior lighting

will come on.

If this is not the case, then there is a fault.

 Call the Miele Service Department.

The shelf has not been positioned correctly on the

shelf supports.

 Push the shelf in until it clicks into position.
