Radio and Antennas
The MSM313 has a single radio with two antennas for diversity.

Ports
•
Ethernet ports: Two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports with RJ-45 connectors. Only the LAN
port supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ethernet ports are for LAN connections only,
and they have not been evaluated for connection to MAN or WAN applications.
•
Serial port: To connect to a computer, use a standard (straight-through) serial cable
with an RJ-11 connector. For details, see Ports in the HP MSM313/MSM323
Management and Configuration Guide. The RJ-11 connector is not a telecommunication
port and cannot be connected to outside plant leads (phone lines).
