Magnetron – Test Procedure
Danger!
DO NOT attempt to measure voltage in the high voltage microwave
circuit.
Important!
The appliance must be disconnected from the power source (breaker off,
unplugged, etc...) before performing this procedure.
1. Remove the appliance – Refer to Section 5.1.
2. Remove the top cover – Refer to Section 5.2.
3. Discharge the high voltage capacitor – Refer to Section 5.3.
4. Unplug the connectors on the Magnetron.
5. Refer to Figure 5-12, use an Ohmmeter to perform the following
checks:

Important!
After the appliance is re-assembled, perform the Microwave Leakage
Test (Refer to Section 5.12).
