- Ventilate the room where the refrigeration appliance is located for several minutes. - Contact the Miele Customer Service Department. The more coolant there is in a refrigeration appliance, the larger the room it should be installed in. In the event of a leakage, if the ap- pliance is in a small room, there is the danger of a combustible gas/ air mixture building up.

If the electrical connection cable is faulty it must only be replaced by a Miele authorised service technician to protect the user from danger. Do not connect the appliance to the mains electrical supply by a multi-socket adapter or extension lead.
