Cleaning and care

 Clean any ground coffee residues off

the brew unit filter.

 Dry the funnel to prevent ground

coffee sticking to it the next time a

coffee is made.

 Clean the inside of the coffee

machine. Make sure that the areas

highlighted in the illustration are

cleaned especially well.

Tip: Use a vacuum cleaner to remove

dry ground coffee residues.

 Drop 1 cleaning tablet into the top of

the brew unit (arrow).

 Push the brew unit back into the

coffee machine.

 Press the button on the end of the

brew unit handle  and, whilst doing

so, turn the handle to the right .

 Close the appliance door.

The time left for the maintenance

programme is shown in the display.

The maintenance programme is

complete when the drinks menu

appears on the display.
