Further settings

In Settings mode you can adjust certain
settings and select functions, allowing
you to customise the appliance to suit
your requirements.
See the following pages for more
information on these settings.
The door alarm is automatically
supressed when you are in Settings
mode. No symbol will be displayed
and no alarm will sound. Exception: If
there is a fault (F+ numbers), Settings
mode will be exited automatically. The
fault code will be shown in the display
and an alarm will sound (see "Problem
solving guide").
The freezer section control panel (to
the right-hand side of the display)
must be used to apply the desired
settings.

Switching Sabbath mode on/off
Setting the display brightness
Changing the temperature unit
(°C/°F)
Switching the safety lock on/off

Sabbath mode

The appliance offers a Sabbath mode
for the purpose of religious observance.
The following are switched off:
– the interior lighting when the machine
door is opened
– all acoustic and optical signals
– the temperature display
– DynaCool, SuperCool, and
SuperFreeze (if previously switched
on).
To access Settings mode, the
SuperFreeze sensor can still be
selected.
The Sabbath mode function will switch
off automatically after approx.
120 hours.
Ensure that the appliance doors are
properly closed, as visual and audible
alarms are switched off.
Any power cut during this time will not
be shown in the display. After a power
cut, the machine will start up in
Sabbath mode.
