Messages in the display
Message
DEMO is shown in the
display. The machine
does not get cold, but
the machine controls
are working.
The temperature display
is dark and is shown
in the display.
The display LED is lit
up in the display and
the appliance cannot be
operated.
An alarm is sounding.

Possible cause and remedy
Demo mode is activated. In this mode, the appliance
can be presented in a showroom without the cooling
system being switched on. Do not activate this setting
for domestic use.
Call Miele.
Sabbath mode is switched on: The interior lighting is
switched off but the appliance is cooling.
You can switch Sabbath mode off at any time (see
"Further settings – Switching Sabbath mode on/
off").
The safety lock has been activated.
Switch the safety lock off (see "Further settings -
Switching the safety lock on/off").
The door alarm has been activated (see also
"Temperature and door alarm").
Close the relevant appliance door.
The alarm will stop.
