Cleaning the water inlet filters
The washing machine has filters to protect the water intake valves.
You should inspect the filters approximately every 6 months. Check
the filters more often if there are frequent interruptions to the external
water supply.
Turn off the faucet.
Unscrew the inlet hose from the faucet.
Remove the rubber seal (1) from the recess.
Using combination or needle-nose pliers, take hold of the plastic fil-
ter bar (2) and remove it.
Clean the plastic filter.
Re-assemble in reverse order.
Turn on the water supply and check the connection is watertight. If
water drips out, tighten the connection.
Using pliers, carefully loosen the ribbed plastic nut on the intake
valve and unscrew.
Use needle-nose pliers to withdraw the filter by the bar and clean it.
Re-assemble in reverse order.
The filters must be reinserted after cleaning.
